A collection of works that celebrated how the human brain has been represented in a scholastic way. it highlights the differences between artistic and scientific depictions of the brain in an accessible and creative format. This was an exhibition in Amsterdam in 2017 that i could only read about in articles on the internet, but i was still intrigued by the event. These prints and illustrations combine art and science and showcases how the two can work together harmoniously. it also gave an insight as to the historical understand of what the brain looked like, whilst pre-dating modern technology and it’s ability to show us accurately and in detail.
